【Dharma Talk by Venerable Master Ren Da】Literary Prajna refers to the key meaning and supreme truth of Dharma expressed through languages and words, such as the three treasuries and twelve divisions of the Buddhist canon, expound sutras and give lectures of Dharma et al. Since Buddha nature is invisible and formless, beyond description and ineffable, once said then it is not. Usually we say:”Once down to the interpretation of words, then it becomes something else”. Once said then it is not. As it is said that:”Where the way of words delivery is cut off and mind conducts end. In order to guide the fresh learners to cross the threshold, meanings and principles have to be given on what is ineffable actually. LiteraryPrajna is just an expedient way to convey Dharma.
